Product Description

This is a UV resistant adhesive tape using a UV stabilised polyethylene
film and then coated with a long ageing acrylic adhesive system.
This polyethylene tape has a high moisture resistance and it also benefits
from good oil, salt water and plasticisers resistance. Although this is a
polythene tape the thick carrier displays high tensile strength and the high
performance adhesive allows good adhesion to flexible and rigid plastic
films.This product has typically been used as a greenhouse repair tape,
polytunnel repair tape and is a common tape in the DIY industry to be used as an
outdoor repair tape to temporarily repair glass and plastic such as windows,
greenhouse, car lights, car wing mirrors, skylights and much more.The
adhesive system on this polyethylene adhesive tape can also be suitable for
bonding to other substrates such as metal and timber for general repair,
bundling, binding and weather proofing.
Coated on to a clear polyethylene film allows the product to blend in with
the substrates although the product is not optically clear. All in all this
is a great outdoor repair tape that suits many applications.
